Church School Distinctiveness

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121 v1:2

Our vision enables and inspires the community we serve to acheive their full potential, realise their dreams and accomplish their aspirations. We do this through our unwavering Christian ethos which permeates all we do.  We believe that every child is a gift from God and that every child can acheive their goals regardless of barriers, backgrounds and challenges.

At Hapton, we pride ourselves in knowing our children and families personally.  Staff understand the importance of building positive relationships with children and families.  Every adult at Hapton knows that to believe in a child and spark their curiosity can result in a life long love of learning and success in adulthood.  They recognise and live out Jesus' message to love one another, and this, combined with high quality teaching and learning, gives our children the very best primary education that they so deserve.  Our vision encapusaltes this.

Our school aims to provide opportunities for all childrento develop as independent, confident, successful learners with high aspirations who know how to make a postive contribution to their community and to the wider society.  There is a high focus on developing children's moral, spiritual, social and cultural understanding through the Christian message of love, joy and celebration of humanity.  Through our whole school Christian vision, Hapton School provides an envoronment where all children feel welcome and can flourish.

We regularly visit Saint Margaret's Church and the Methodist Church as a whole school and as individual classes and Reverend Mark Jones and Reverend Mark Jason deliver collective worship in school every Thursday.
