Our Published Writing

We have planned, drafted, edited and improved our writing, here are some examples of pieces of work that we have 'published'.

Autumn 1 and 2 2022

We have been super busy this term, we have written a letter to a loved one in character;a persuasive advert based in ww2; a black out poem for Rememberence day; a newspaper article about a fictional event and we ahve written part of a narrative using mythical and fictitional characters to develop our description skills.

Have a listen to our stories by clicking on the icons below.

Summer Term 1

The Year Six have decided to offer their advice and wisdom about how to 'survive' in Year Six in the style of an explanation text.
Some of our published pieces are in the slideshow below.

We published our writing in the style of a writing gallery and got all the adults in school to come and view our work. They 'bought' their favourite pieces and made comments on our work.

We displayed both our first drafts AND our published piece so our writing progression was clear.
